This a 1979 Chevy Monte Carlo completed by DiabloFormula Racing, the customer is in the middle of a restoration project on the car and decided to go with a 2002 LS1 and a 4L60E auto tranmission, the Monte was equipped with A/C from a Sandan compressor and the Kwik-Perf.com A/C brackets. The Monte also is running MR Long Tube headers with custom side exit exhaust from Muffman Performance Exhaust. The fuel system consists of a baffled Grand National fuel tank with the Corvette fuel filter w/regulater, custom steel braided fuel line to the engine. With this swap Diabloformula Racing found that the best oil pan for k-member spacing was the Cadillac CTS-V oil pan/windage tray/pick-up tube combo. Along with the the swap were a full set of Autometer ES gauges installed in a custom shadow box.
